Xcaret`s Orquesta Jaranera in concert

**A Repertoire of hymns and marches in honor of the dearly departed

Xcaret`s Orquesta Jaranera, under the direction of Maestro Manuel Cervantes, has prepared a unique concert consisting of some of the most exquisite pieces in Mexico`s music tradition.

With songs like Chinito Coy-Coy, El Tukulunchu, La Angaripola, El Pichito Amoroso, El Torito Yucateco and Lindo Motul, Xcaret`s Orquesta Jaranera will create a party of rhythm and chords that include all the audience.

The 23 musicians comprising Xcaret`s Orquesta Jaranera will demonstrate their mastery over wind instruments like flutes and horns and their skill with percussion instruments to locals and foreigners alike.

The concert will close with a funeral march, setting the tone for those who wish to honor the Day of the Dead; solemnity is not in conflict with festivities.

Xcaret`s Orquesta Jaranera will give four concerts a day from October 30th to November 2nd at different venues in Xcaret Park, including the Hacienda Henequenera and the Entrance of the Main Plaza.
